Christ is our a our problem solver

Dear Friend,

Today in my studies I read of how Jesus provided a meal for five thousand (Mark 6:30-44). I think it took the disciples by surprise, when He asked them to feed the five thousand!  I think most of us would have been like the disciples in their thinking: “They said to him, ’That would take more than half a year’s wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?’”-Mark 6:37

Are these the same disciples whom Jesus sent out, and He gave the authority over impure spirits! The bible says in Mark 6:12-13:  They went out and preached that people should repent.  They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

I think we, like the disciples, sometimes forget the authority we have over any problem! We forget how Jesus has used ordinary, old us to do incredible things (Mark 6:12). The problem with us is we think  in the natural how lofty our issue is, feeding of the five thousand, but we forget whose authority we are under!
