God is there in your helplessness!

washing-jesus-feet2Does it bother you when people tell you, “I know how you feel,” when you feel terrible? I know people are just trying to be nice, but Christ can only truly feel you (Hebrew 2:18)! I think the Bible says in the world you will have mucho problemos but, chill Jesus has solved them (John 16:33). I may not know how feel but, I do understand helplessness. God uses my helplessness: by the surrendering of my plans!  God has a sweet-spot, in my helplessness, to improve my life. I have been disabled for twelve years, and sometimes it feels like I can’t do anything about it,guess what I can’t! I have two choices: give-up on God or have faith in Him.

I have been reading the book Jeremiah, about how God chooses Jeremiah to speak to His people. The Jews stopped listening, and gave-up on God! Jeremiah was telling the people of Judah to turn back to God or the kingdom would be destroyed; most of the (false) prophets said Jeremiah was a quack! The prophets would say “GOD” was speaking through them, and what they were doing was telling lies (Jeremiah 27:10) Talk about helplessness, Jeremiah was the only one preaching Holiness. My point is sometimes when you are doing what is right you can feel all alone. Don’t give-up, in the end you will win (Philippines 3:14)!

On a side note, Paul spoke to Timothy about people who would choose to surround themselves with people that teach falsely :

You’re going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for a solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They’ll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep your eye on what you’re doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message   alive; do a thorough job as God’s servant.-2 Timothy 4:3-5 (THE MESSAGE TRANSLATION )

You may not see how this verse relates to your life, but you make the choice of what voices you will allow to speak in your life by your selection friends. I know I might sound like your parents  but, I know from experience friends can influence your choices!
